Chimoney Web App Updates
1. Interledger Testnet Integration (Sandbox Environment)
We’ve successfully peered Chimoney’s Sandbox with the Interledger Testnet. This means you can now send and receive payments between Interledger-issued wallet addresses, and Chimoney-issued wallet addresses. This is a step toward interoperability and expanding cross-network payment capabilities.
2. Wallet Threshold Settings
We’ve introduced custom wallet thresholds to help businesses manage their balances more efficiently. You can now set:
- Under-limit thresholds – get notified when your wallet balance drops below a set minimum.
- Exact amount thresholds – trigger alerts when your balance reaches a specific figure.
- Percentage-based thresholds – receive notifications when your balance decreases below a certain percentage.
3. Updated Wallet Funding Process
Funding your wallet is now simpler and faster. When you click “Pay with Card”, or “USD Bank Wire & ACH”, you’ll now be redirected to direct checkout pages, as shown below, without any extra steps.
API Updates
New Payout Endpoint: SPEI (Mexico)
We’ve added a new payout endpoint, payout/spei, to enable Mexican Peso cashouts through SPEI (Sistema de Pagos Electrónicos Interbancarios). With this new endpoint, you can now send payouts to recipients in Mexico via bank accounts, debit cards or phone numbers.
